Redefining Greatness: The True Measure of a Big Person
What does it mean to be a big person? Is greatness measured by accumulating wealth, possessions, or power? Or is it something more profound? Something that resonates deeply within our souls?
A truly big person is not measured by their physical size, bank account, or material possessions. Rather, it's about the size of their heart. A big person has a heart that is generous, compassionate, and accommodating. They have a heart that is always willing to give, to share, and to serve.
A big person is not someone who seeks to elevate themselves above others. Instead, they are someone who empowers others to grow, to succeed, and to become their best selves. They have a giving habit, consistently looking for ways to contribute positively to the lives of those around them.
Jesus is the ultimate example of a big person. He didn't measure His greatness by His material possessions, but by His willingness to give. He gave tirelessly, selflessly, and sacrificially, ultimately giving His life for the benefit of humanity.
The true measure of a big person is not in their own accomplishments or possessions, but in the positive impact they have on the lives of others. A big person's size is reflected in the lives of those they touch, inspire, and serve. Their legacy is not in what they accumulate, but in the hearts they transform.
