The Collapse of Time: A Reflection on Human Progress

Have you ever pondered the breathtaking acceleration of human innovation? For nearly two millennia, humanity's speed was limited to the pace of a horse. Yet, in a mere 130 years, we've transcended terrestrial bounds, achieving space travel at astonishing speeds of 18,000 miles per hour.

As I reflect on our rapid progress, I'm struck by the disconnect between our technological prowess and our moral and spiritual growth. We're attempting to navigate the complexities of the Space Age with antiquated moral and spiritual frameworks. Technology, devoid of inherent morality, can become a double-edged sword; without moral restraints, humanity risks self-destruction through ecological degradation, military conflicts, or other means.

In a world where change is the only constant, one reassuring truth remains: God's character, wisdom, and love are immutable. His presence is as steadfast today as it was ten million years ago, and will remain so ten million years hence.

As we navigate the turbulence of our times, let us draw strength from the timelessness of God. Like ephemeral grasshoppers, our earthly existence is fleeting. May we prioritize our spiritual growth, cultivate a deeper connection with God, and seek wisdom to navigate the complexities of our rapidly changing world.
