Let God Be God
Every person has something they’re believing for—situations they long to see change, and dreams they feel God has placed in their hearts. But in our human nature, we often want to know all the details: When will it happen? How will it happen? What should I do to make it happen faster?
If we're not careful, we start to take control—trying to tell God how, when, and where He should move. But the truth is, God's ways are not our ways. Scripture reminds us that His thoughts are higher, His plans far greater than anything we could imagine.
When things don’t unfold according to our timetable, it’s easy to grow frustrated or discouraged. But delay doesn’t mean denial. What if God is preparing something better than what you imagined? What if His “no” or “not yet” is actually His protection and provision?
Instead of striving to control the outcome, release it. Trust Him. Say, “God, I may not see how this will work out, but I know You have a plan. Even when it’s not my way, I trust that it will be Your best way.”
Don’t limit what God can do by boxing Him into your expectations. Stay open. Keep believing. Let God be God—and watch Him do exceedingly above all you could ask or imagine.
